Whether it's a festive bash for your family, work or friends... check out what the pubs and restaurants below are offering. Although it's early many will book up quickly so it's worth cracking on.
Dainton Golf Club is very adept at putting on a Christmas party. Their Oak Room Restaurant has an open fire blazing and will be decked out with fir tree branches, lights and candles for a truly festive feel. There scrumptious sounding can be downloaded here and if you still have the energy their resident DJ will belt out the Yule-time classics.
The Bickley Mill Inn promises a fun Christmas dinner and disco evening. Ideal for large parties of five or more – they have a range of seasonal starters, mains and desserts followed by dancing in the Millers Room.
These special party nights are first come first served – booking is essential, as places are limited.
Starting on November 29 the Coombe Cellars Christmas menu is offered for £19.95 per person. The restaurant in Coombeinteignhead is known for the quality of its food and its festive offerings don't disappoint.
They have five choices of mains including Scottish Salmon and sow cooked pork belly in maple syrip (as well as Turkey, of course). The desert options include cappuccino cheesecake and raspberry crème brulee alongside more seasonal desserts. There's £5 off champers for advance bookings and a £10 voucher for the organiser!
There can be few more cosy venues on a winter's night than The Linny, in Coffinswell. And they have a three course menu for £18.95.
The Passage House Inn holds Christmas party evenings in their Templar Suite Function room which includes a three-course menu, coffee and truffles, festive crackers and an in house disco. All this for £22.95 per person!
