Throughout August the council will be breaking out giant garden games in many popular parks and open spaces, offering traditional favourites like Snakes and Ladders and Connect 4.

There will also be recycling workshops where youngsters can make masks from household recyclables.

All the events take place from 2pm – 4pm on the following days:

Tuesday 2, 9 and 16 August: Courtenay Park, Newton Abbot

Wednesday 3 and 17 August: Coombe Valley Local Nature Reserve, Teignmouth

Wednesday 10 August: The Den, Teignmouth

Thursday 4 and 18 August: Hackney Marshes, Kingsteignton

Thursday 11 August: Sandringham Park, Buckland

There's no need to book for the events, families can just come along on the day.  All events are weather permitting, and may be cancelled if the weather is very bad.
