The man is described as being in his late 20's to early 30's and of slim build. He had short dark hair and wore a navy blue brimmed hat, large waterproof coat, a white football shirt and dark shorts. He spoke with a Liverpool accent.
The man collected a painting, valued at almost £6,000, from a gallery in the town on 26 October 2012. The painting, the Moulin Rouge in Paris, had been bought using a fraudulent credit card.
