Newton Abbot people: Have you considered car sharing?

Newton Abbot is certainly a town where locals might wish to utilise car sharing. Not to mention, of course, the ever-inflating cost of fuel!

Carsharedevon.com has more than 8,000 members making it the largest public lift sharing scheme in the country. The website allows people across the south west to find others to share their journey, either taking turns with the driving, or giving someone a lift in exchange for a contribution to the fuel costs. It is commissioned by Devon County Council.
