Plans for the multi million pound redevelopment of Newton Abbot library and learning centre go on display at the library this coming Friday and Saturday.

Public consultation starts Friday.
The public are invited to attend the event to see the plans, on Friday 30 July between 2pm and 7pm and on Saturday 31 July between 10am and 4pm. Tours of the building have been arranged to give people a better understanding of the improvements.
Library and adult learning staff will be on hand to discuss the proposals, and there will be free children's activities and refreshments.
The Council approved plans to press ahead with the redevelopment at the end of last year, and since then has been involving the public to find out what people would like the new facility to provide.
Devon County Councillor for Newton Abbot North, Councillor Anne Fry, said:
"I hope as many people as possible will take the opportunity of going along to the public events being held so that they can see and hear about just what improvements and changes are planned. I particularly urge those residents who do not currently use the Library to attend and see for themselves what is currently on offer as well as what is planned. They may be surprised!"
Subject to receiving planning permission, the Council anticipates that the library could reopen by early autumn 2011.
While the building is closed during redevelopment, the library service will move temporarily to Teign House, Kingsteignton Road, next to the Courtney Centre.
