Girl assaulted in the Jolly Farmer, Newton Abbot: Police appeal for witnesses

Police are appealing for witnesses following an assault on a teenage girl in the Jolly Farmer pub, which left the victim with a large gash to her forehead.

A police spokesman said that just after midnight on Saturday, July 17, an incident occurred – where it is believed a glass was used in an unprovoked attack near the DJ booth.
An 18-year-old man who is known to the victim was arrested at the time and has since been released on police bail until September 17, pending further enquires.
Police want to hear from anyone who was in the Jolly Farmer at the time who may have witnessed the incident.
