Does anyone know what is happening to that building that used to be Carlino's opposite Devon Square?

I don't know how everyone else feels, but I thought that Carlino's was a great thing for Newton Abbot. It was a really nice, smart building, and gave our town a bit of class. Plus, the food was amazing. It seems like its been empty for ages now, does anyone know what is happening to it? I would like to see another good restuarant there really...

I reckon Newton needs a good cocktail bar! Carlinos wasnt even open for very long was it?? And yes, I agree with Martin- the food was good. Amazing Mussels. Lets start a petition for a cocktail bar....
