Kerswell Down botany walk - Sunday 18th April 2010 - 10:00 to 12:30 - How many spring flowers can you identify?

Are you a wild flower expert? If so and you live locally could you help record the rarer plants found on Kerswell Down?

Kerswell Down is a registered common and a much loved wildlife area in Kingskerswell. Because of the underlying limestone rock the list of plants is quite impressive. There is always much to see and enjoy without having to walk too far, but beware, the path is fairly steep and can be muddy after rain.

Not an expert? Like to learn more? Then please feel free to join the walk here on Sunday. Meet at the small Maddacombe Road car park by 10:00. Led by a local enthusiast. (Sorry but not suitable for bringing a dog and although children are most welcome they must be accompanied by a responsible adult).
