Newton Abbot's delights?

I'll start by saying the bustling vibe of the town centre (especially compared to nearby town centres like Paignton and Torquay). There's musical entertainment, plenty of coffee shops and quirky shops. I love the market shops too.

The parks

Stover Lake, great for bird watching

All of the above plus Decoy, Newton Quay and river walk. Bands in Courtenay Park. Town Criers competition. Victorian night at Christmas. And the list goes on and on. I've loved it since my Mum used to bring me here to the market on wednesdays over 50 years ago. now I live here and wouldn't live anywhere else.

Asda! Although I'm not sure a lot of people would agree with me. Definitely the parks, and the river! The Pizza Cafe of course. Highweek is a pretty nice place if that counts, can see over the whole of the town from up there :D The indoor market as well, especially that place with the ice cream! Hmm many more, can't remember them all (:
