Why oh why can't we have a post office a little more central in town? And if it's not annoying enough to walk all the way down to the bottom of town you then have to queue for usually at least 10 minutes (on a good day). There, said my piece.

I know having the post office at the other end of town is really annoying, but it has opened up Queen Street. There are a couple of shops that have opened up that had stalls in the market for a long time, and some of the shops that were already there have opened up larger shops and they all seem to be doing really wel.. My main beef about the post office is the lack of staff. When I commented to them about it they were just as fed up as the customers because the powers that be won't let them have any more staff.

The problem with Queen Street is that it's so long been associated as being "Takeaway Alley" that it's hard for new shops to become established there. It's a shame because it's close to the railway station, so it's often the first street visitors come to.
