Random question: Did there used to e a dog racing track in Newton Abbot?

    Apparently there used to be a dog track in Kingskerswell - past the bridge opposite the Hare & Hounds and now called Stadium Drive. This was a long, long time ago... perhaps 1960s.

    Yep. Hence the name Stadium drive and hare and hounds pub.

    The 1st Kingskerswell Scouts used to hold there summer fetes there until it was sold off for development and the names of the dogs were still written up on blackboards in the old tin sheds.
