We need something to keep the kids off the streets, that does not cost a fortune to send them to, bigger youth club, internet cafe with pool room or discounted sports at the Leisure centre? Get some decent market traders, Newton Abbots supposed to be well known for it's Market Place and race course, come on people lets face it our market is pants!!!

Is there a youth club in Newton Abbot like the ones in Ashburton and Bovey Tracey? If there is I haven't heard of it... it would be a good thing I think.

One hour free onstreet parking to help traders in our run down town. More lenient traffic enforcement officers to prevent customers being driven out to out of town business parks. Only a few businesses left now before Newton Hadit shuts down for good. We don't need another rates free charity shop.

We need more outside cafes / pubs especially with outdoor HEATING and nice barriers like every other up and coming town has urgently. And a decent steak house / restaurant that does english food please

A cash point at the other end of town (Queen Street) is needed in my opinion. The nearest one is Nationwide I think and that's near the bottom of Courtenay Street. I usually park around the Devon Square area so it's annoying that there's none about. Perhaps this would help improve Queen Street a little too. It always seems quite with empty shops.

I agree with local shopper, some sort of parking charge free period to attract more people to browse in town. It would be good to have an hour or two free now and then so you can do some shopping and have time to meet a friend for coffee without clockwatching.

We now have no coach park in Newton Abbot. Have mentioned this to the council before but (surprisingly) nothing really happened.

We need more public notice boards in market area,So local groups and courses can be advested to help the community,know what is going on in area. This will help small business people.

A 10k race. Is there an annual 10k race in Newton Abbot? A lot of towns have them. Totnes does. It brings in a lot of buzz and visitors to the town and can raise money for charity. It would be great for Newton Abbot as a summer event.

There is one in Teignbridge ten run by the Teignbridge Trotters I believe. That starts at Teign School.

A mini golf course in Newton Abbot.

We could do with a winter attraction and although we're not a tourist town per ce I think it would work. Especially an indoor one. Has this ever been suggusted? Paignton have an illuminous course and that seems to do well so how about one in the centre of town. All ages love mini golf.
