Such a good idea to go to a hand car wash, not one of the big machines. For anyone who doesn't already know, they wreck your paintwork. You may as well go through the monkey section of a safari park if you want to voluntarily cause damage. However, I also recommend avoiding the one near McDonalds. Of course, at this time of year, there are plenty of people wanting to earn extra pennies - we now have our neighbour's son to wash and clean our car. He doesn't have all the equipment that the hand car-wash places do, but he does a good job. Why not ask around to see if you have friends or relations with a youngster who wants to do it for you?
