I'm definitely gonna vote for her this week after her outstanding performance as the 'cape' in the paso doble... http://tinyurl.com/2a58992
Interesting way of cleaning the floor anyway! ;-)

My friend and I went to the Harvesters Bakers and Anne Widdecombe was sitting on her own on the next table to us. We leant over and said congratulations with all her dancing exploits and she thanked us. Before she left she took her dishes to the counter and then said ‘goodbye’ to us before leaving. It was very refreshing to see such a celebrity being so pleasant and down to earth.

I love Strictly Come Dancing, and so far I have been enjoying watching Anne Widdecombe - she gives as good as she gets with the judges and she is good entertainment. Actually I thought the judges could have given her a bit more credit last Saturday. However, I think enough is enough. Up to now the couples that have gone out would not have made it to the final so the fact that the public were keeping her in didn't really matter. Now if Anne stays in at the expense of someone like Kara or Matt, or even Patsy, it would be a real pity. We shouldn't be voting for someone just because they practice in Newton Abbot (or the Welsh voting for Gavin because he comes from Wales). It's time to vote for the dancing.
well said Chrissy, we need characters like Widdy, too many stuffed shirts around these days

So no more Strictly Come Dancing training in Newton Abbot - but perhaps it will have encouraged some local people to take up ballroom dancing - can anyone recommend a good class locally?
I must say I enjoyed the entertainment value that Ann gave, and I enjoyed the way she dealt with the judges.....of course their comments were planned to stir up interest in the programme and she took it all in good part. However, now we are down to the last 5 contestants it would have been unfortunate if one of them had gone out instead of Ann. She entertained us all for several weeks, but now it is only right that those contestants who have really worked hard at improving their dancing are given a fair chance. But who to vote for........??????
