The sales people from that mobile phone shop on the corner are most annoying! You get virtually ambushed every time you get anywhere near the corner of Queen Street and Courtenay Street. Am I alone in this?

The sales people from that mobile phone shop on the corner are most annoying!  You get virtually ambushed every time you get anywhere near the corner of Queen Street and Courtenay Street.  Am I alone in this?

hi was in town tonight, yes they are still there standing outside the shop as usual. Acrually, I think this situation is working against them as people are actually taking the troubke to avoid going near the shop. No doubt not wanting to be acousted.

I wrote to this discussion the other day. But it seems to be no longer here. The point I made was that I had been infomred that trading standards had told them not to do this practice, however I am not sure of this as a fact? Has anyone heard anything similar??

I thought I read somewhere (newspaper maybe) they were barred from doing this. Certainly I would never buy from them but then many people are taken in by pushy sales people.

Must be something about that spot!!
