Kingsteignton library to be closed for repairs

Essential maintenance work means Kingsteignton Library will have to close for two Mondays in succession later this month.

The Devon County Council's library will be closed on Monday, June 28, and again on Monday, July 5, for essential repair and maintenance of the roof and replacement of the windows.

External refurbishment of the building will also be taking place.

The council has assured residents that all loan periods will be extended to ensure no items are due for return on these days.

During the two temporary closures, residents can visit the neighbouring libraries of Newton Abbot and Kingskerswell for public access computers and borrowing facilities.
