Indoor Group Cycling raise over £750.00 for our local marines.

On the 12th November one hundred eager spinners, some dressed in full fatigues "spun" for 4 hours in honour of Royal Marine commandos. Motivated by uplifting Royal Marine band music, such as "The Great Escape" and "Dambusters" they valiantly rode in classes reflecting all environments found in military combat, land, sea and air! The group were encouraged by Colonel Jim Hutton setting the pace, and Corporal Matthew Turnbull eloquently speaking about his experiences, and subsequent help and support from the The C Group and Hasler Company. The team raised a magnificent £700 on the night, however donations are still rolling in!
