A £100 REWARD has been offered for the capture of a vandal who has cut down trees in a Newton Abbot park.
Teignbridge Council is appealing for information following damage caused to several trees in Courtenay Park.
And a councillor is now stumping up the reward for anyone who has information which will lead to the arrest and conviction of the culprit.
Two small oak trees have been felled, and a cherry tree has had several limbs damaged.
Anybody with information should contact tree officer Martin Weaver on 01626 215878 or Martin.Weaver@teignbridge.gov.uk, or contact police Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, or at a police station, ref JN-09/1967.

Teignbridge Council and police were outraged after two oaks were cut down and cherry trees were damaged in Courtenay Park.
Police say after information was received from the public they spoke to two youngsters — a 15-year-old girl and a 13-year-old boy, both from Torbay. Both have been charged with offences of vandalism.
