General Election race.
In the 2005 General Election they scored 45 per cent of the vote in Teignbridge, with the Tories coming in at 35 per cent.
Perhaps things won’t be too different this term… or will they?
The Green Party are scoring relatively highly at about 20 per cent of the vote, with UKIP just under ten per cent.
Where are the red votes?? Labour has yet to gain any yet!
Last night saw the first Leaders’ debate on television – a very American idea.
David Cameron, Nick Clegg and Gordon Brown produced their full repertoire of tricks - all citing personal anecdotes and told stories of the people they met.
Did local people find the debate helpful? Who did you feel came across the best?

If that ultimately encourages more people to use public transport then I think they could be forgiven. Obviously public transport woulf have to improve ten-fold though. I caught the bus to Paignton the other day and it took the best part of an hour and a half with all the changing. Ridiculous.
