The outdoor

swimming pools in Buckfastleigh and Ashburton will be open from Saturday 29

May.

This year

regular visitors will be able to take out a season pass which can be used at

all of Teignbridge’s outdoor pools throughout the May to September season,

giving an opportunity to save money on regular pool use.

Adult passes

cost £42 and junior passes (5-15yrs) cost £25, with under-5s going free. They’re available to buy at all

outdoor pool kiosks during the season.

Tracey Higgs, Teignbridge District Council’s Service

Manager for Leisure Facilities and Resorts said:

“We can’t

wait to open up our outdoor pools for the summer season and give local people

and visitors the chance to

enjoy swimming and fun in one of our busy seasonal outdoor facilities.

“Our outdoor

pools are always popular, and

regular users can save money by taking advantage of the popular season

pool passes, available to use across all of the Teignbridge outdoor pools for

the whole summer season.

“We look

forward to welcoming all our visitors, who’ll we’re sure will enjoy the

friendly atmosphere and healthy lifestyle which our open air pools offer.”

- Please note, Kingsteignton swimming pool is not run by

Teignbridge.
