Market Loos

I know this is probably rehashing old news but does anyone actually think resiting the loos in the market place, upstairs is a GOOD idea. So far I haven't met one person who likes them there from elderly people struggling with slow, often smelly lifts, young mums with kids and even bus drivers have moaned about the time it takes them to get up and down in the lift whilst they are having to leave their buses unattended.
Adding insult to injury, in my opinion, the toilets are closed on Sundays when there is a very busy carboot sale in progress!!
I'm actually quite a fan of Teignbridge council as I usual find them helpful and quick to redress my complaints (of which I've had a few) but who was the idiot who came up with that idea?

I agree with townboy. A lot of good work has been done to make Newton Abbot market better for locals. The town seems to be thriving (compared to others) so why are people always looking for negatives?

ReportI wish it was temporary but afraid not. Its a done and dusted deal. I'm not complaining about the loos themself but the location.

ReportI wouldn't trust those lifts either, I've known them to break all to often.
