A4e Pathway is running a major festive campaign this year to help people on health related benefits and who want to get back into work.
Depending on people’s circumstances claimants’ can be eligible for up to £250 in job grants and £100 worth of shopping vouchers when starting work or self employment for 16 or more hours a week, said Kevin Kelway, South West Regional Media Co-ordinator for A4e.
Pathways run from over 17 offices across the region and an independent service for people in receipt of sickness or disability related benefits.
Pathways to work provide impartial advice, training and support to help local people gain suitable and sustainable job opportunities.
Paul Dingle, Operations Manager for A4e Pathways, said: “Many people come to A4e Pathways on the recommendation of Job Centre Plus, while many others approach the service directly. We help people develop their skills to find their ideal job, but also guide clients through the benefits system so people don’t worry signing up to Pathways to work - so they don’t lose the money they are getting at the moment.”
Newton Abbot A4e is located on 2nd Floor, 30/32 Courtney Street. For further information visit: www.a4e.co.uk
