We had a really delicious meal here last week. Great quality, good attentive service and a very contemporary, 'upscale' feel to it. If you are looking for flock wallpaper and cheesy sitar music this is probably not the place for you. The food was slightly under-spiced relative to other Indian restaurants we have been to, so next time I will order up the spice scale. Will go back.

Enjoyed it!

Naz Indian Cuisine
On the heart of Queen Street, this Indian curry house stands out instantly from the others in Newton Abbot due to the size of the venue. Naz has lots of room meaning that getting a table here is often possible. Naz caters with strong menu of authentic Indian cuisine and friendly service. With their all you can eat banquet every Tuesday for £9.95 you can’t go wrong.

Disappointing
Four of us booked a table at Naz recently and were disappointed. The food was average and very overpriced but the drinks were extautionate!! £3.50 a pint is just not on outside London. The service was the worst aspect, luke warm dishes, lazy waiters and arrogant staff. I will not be returning. My partner dragged me kicking and screaming to the eastern eye last month when I didnt even fancy a curry and I had a fab night...definately the best choice and a great atmosphere-free sambuca as well!!
Don't bother with Naz, hopefully they turn it back to an Italian...sorry Naz...could do better!By artisanfoody at 14:16 on 30/03/11

Lush tasty food
We tried nazi for the frost time last Friday . Lush food but found the staff a little unfriendly . Had a takeaway the following week , absoutly lush . This is my favourite Indian can't wait for valentines night! Just wish the staff were a little more friendly

Nazs Indian Restaurant - Queen Street, Newton Abbot
Contempory, cool, excellent service, extensive menu - first class food. My third visit in the last month. Can't recommend it highly enough. tonight was a tuesday night and the place was fully booked - speaks for itself
