I actually discovered this pub back in the 70´s while the Newton Abbot Bypass was being built. Have been there regularily (once a year) ever since and have never been disappointed. Top rating and I always look forward to my next visit.

    Fantastic food !!

       

    We had a birthday meal at the Old Rydon a couple of weeks ago, it had been recommended by a friend and everything they told us was true. The food was fantastic, the service was very pleasant and my husband loved the ale selection. The open fire was inviting and we will definately be returning soon.
