Good community facility

Newton Abbot Leisure Centre has all you'd expect from a sports venue in terms of a pool, gym, sports hall, gymnastics facility etc... what's really good though is all the activities for the youth it hosts throughout the year and in the school holidays. This summer holidays the centre has so many activities for kids available including swimming, outdoor pursuits, cheerleading, street dance and basketball. All at a very reasonable price too.

    Very good pool!

       

    There is a good range of facilities at the Newton Abbot Leisure Centre. There is a large sports hall and a very nice fitness centre. There's a good range of sports and fitness classes worth looking into, but the swimming pool is probably the best aspect - excellent for families and young people thanks to the slide and the fun atmosphere, but also with wide and well marked out lanes for those wanting to do lengths.

    Facilities are excellent

       

    Newton Abbot Leisure Centre was updated fairly recently, and it contains all of the assets of any sports centre. With a large gym, and a large sized pool, there are many opportunities to get fit and to learn some new skills. A variety of classes take place in the centre, from dancing to badminton and trampoline classes, it's worth having a look and seeing some of the opportunities available.
