Come on people! Adults in Teignbridge are falling below the national average for weekly exercise.

Recently publicised Sport England figures reveal that between 2008 - 2009 14 per cent of people in Teignbridge aged 16 and over participate in at least 30 minutes of sport at moderate intensity at least three times a week. The national average is 16 per cent.

This figure of 14 per cent is also below the previous year’s 16 per cent.

The adult population of neighbouring Torbay is also listed as slightly fitter at 15 per cent.
