The Tour of Britain passing through Teignmouth!

The Tour of Britain cycle race passes through Teignmouth on Tuesday, 14 September.

Stage 4 will finish in Teignmouth.
It will be a great opportunity to see top riders such as Bradley Wiggins, Geraint Thomas and Andre Greipel.
Stage 4, Minehead to Teignmouth, is due to finish at the Promenade at about 2.30pm.
The race will enter Teignmouth on the A379 from Dawlish and will then route via New Road, Exeter Road, A379 past the rail station, Hollands Road, Esplanade and Courtenay Place to finish on the Upper Den Carriageway.
Barriers will be erected early in the morning on the last kilometre of the race route. Gaps will be left at the key junctions and pedestrian access points to allow the town to operate much as normal until the race route has to be closed to all traffic approximately an hour to 90minutes before the race is expected to arrive at around 2.30pm.
The Tour of Britain 2010 begins in Rochdale on Saturday 11 September and finishes in London on Saturday 18 September.
